Full Job Description

The Kings Head is under new ownership, with exciting propositions planned. It's a great time to join the team with plenty of opportunities to grow and progress within your role. The Kings Head is a traditional pub with rooms set in beautiful Whiteparish. We are looking to hire a customer-oriented pub supervisor to ensure that all pub and room operations run smoothly. The pub supervisor's responsibilities include overseeing the activities of pub staff, expediting customers' orders as needed.

To be successful as a pub supervisor, you should exercise effective management skills and help train and nurture staff to succeed. Ultimately, a top-performing restaurant supervisor should be able to achieve exceptional customer service and ensure that customers have a pleasant restaurant experience.

Restaurant Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Training new and existing staff.

  • Checking in guests and ensuring their stay is as comfortable as possible

  • Conducting regular inspections of the restaurant kitchen to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained.

  • Checking in on dining customers to enquire about food quality and service.

  • Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately stocked.

  • Monitoring cash flow and settling outstanding bills.

  • Reviewing customer feedback to develop and implement ways to improve customer service.

  • Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner.

  • Restaurant management: 1 year (preferred)
