Full Job Description

This role will be instrumental in supporting the team deliver high-quality repairs for our customers, both commercial vehicles and private.

Within the role you will ensure all body repairs and paintwork meet defined quality procedures in the workshop and adhere to any regulations or manufacturer specification as well as assist in the supervision of the workshop as required.,

  • Visually inspect all vehicles in line with the outlined remit of work.

  • Highlight quality or compliance issues and liaise with the workshop controller to ensure any re-work is delivered efficiently.

  • Accurately complete and document all quality control data & paperwork.

  • Meet the business objectives in terms of work completion.

  • Adhere to all agreed policy standards.

  • Work alongside our client liaison team to ensure that all vehicles are returned to customers within agreed SLAs.

  • Maintain awareness of all Health & Safety requirements on site and lead by example

  • A proactive attitude to work and identifying opportunities for growth.

  • Train employees on quality control procedures and best practices within the business, offering occasion supervisory support in the absence of the Workshop Controller.

    Experience of working in a similar role in the automotive industry is essential for this position.

  • Previous experience in a technical role and understanding the repair process would be an advantage to undertaking this role.

  • A critical thinker with excellent attention to detail

  • A mature approach to teamwork and delivering quality assurance to colleagues, both experienced and Apprentice level

  • Ability to work under pressure and drive high performance in others.
