Our current portfolio includes a diverse range of projects, including novel suspension systems for military applications, innovative aircraft seating systems, a 'last mile' 18 tonne electric delivery truck and the design and delivery of a new hydraulic control system for a Hypercar. We are recruiting a Quality Engineer who will be responsible for the planning and execution of quality assurance activities within operations and the supply chain to contribute to delivery of new product and programs, whilst sustaining and continually improving current programs and processes.

  • Support new program/project introduction phase with PPAP creation to AIAG and customer standards.

  • Respond to concerns and non-conformities effectively, employing root cause analysis tools to thoroughly assess the concern. Ensure appropriate containment is conducted and robust corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner.

  • Contribute to supplier approval to supply and nomination through occasional site assessments and audits.

  • PPAP approve supplied parts for series production and lead concern resolution with suppliers.

  • Conduct internal audits to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards and support the on-going maintenance of our management system.

  • Create and maintain procedures and documents as required.

    Recognised technical engineering qualification.

  • Trained internal auditor to ISO 9001:2015.

  • Demonstratable experience of PPAP processes.

  • Strong root cause analysis skills.

  • Working knowledge of metrology techniques.

  • Understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing.

  • Comfortable viewing CAD/STEP files.

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
