Full Job Description

We have created a new role within our structure for a highly motivated and experienced Quality Manager to join our team in Selby. As a key player in our organisation, you will be instrumental in driving quality initiatives, implementing best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Duties: - Deliver and implement quality management strategies, policies, and procedures. - Establish and maintain ISO quality management systems or other relevant certifications. - Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor compliance with quality standards. - Analyse production processes, materials, and finished products for potential quality issues.
- Investigate customer complaints and implement effective corrective actions. - Lead and manage the quality team, providing guidance, training, and motivation. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence throughout the organisation. - Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies. - Communicate quality metrics and performance to senior management regularly. - Manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Proven experience in a quality management role within the corrugated packaging industry or in a fast paced manufacturing environment. - Demonstrated track record in successfully implementing quality control processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives. - Experience in leading quality teams and fostering a culture of quality excellence. - In-depth knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing). - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Quality Management, or Business Administration is desirable.
