will include but not limited to: Preparing and analysing technical data for Quality Assurance and Regulatory purposes Mechanical and chemical testing of materials for preparation of Regulatory submissions Assisting in R&D projects in both the Magnesium Alloys and Zirconium Chemicals businesses Collating results and report writing as evidence of due diligence and auditing for compliance Work with the wider business to improve all company products and processes within Quality Management Systems and Regulatory frameworks Note - In a rapidly developing business environment, flexible team working is the way forward to meet the Company's goals as set in the overall strategic plan. Therefore, you will, from time to time, be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within your capabilities. considered for the Material Science Degree Apprentice role: A minimum of 112 UCAS points at A-level or equivalent (grades BBC or similar), with at least two A levels including Mathematics and a mathematics-based subject GCSE Mathematics and English Language (grade A-C / 9-4) or equivalent Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Hard working and self-motivated, with a keen interest to learn and develop Superb time management and prioritisation skills Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment whilst meeting tight deadlines Professional interpersonal skills, and a team player with a committed, flexible and positive approach to work Why work for us?
