Full Job Description

The job holder will work as an individual and as part of a team, supporting the production of finished drinks safely and competently to required quality standards. The holder will work with all areas of the factory to improve efficiency and reduce process loss. The candidate will also challenge deviations from standards at every opportunity, contributing to a team culture of continuous improvement and unrelenting pursuit of excellence.,

  • Act as a role model for all colleagues by continually complying with the standards.

  • Escalate any potential issues that pose a risk to food safety or product quality to site management.

  • Follow SOPs and comply with the requirements in order to deliver GMP, to ensure there are no quality deficiencies.

  • Update and maintain quality records to ensure the site is compliant with all relevant regulatory and third party standards.

  • Enable the site to be "Always Audit Ready" by contributing to a culture of compliance where:

  • + Manufacturing GMP Standards are always maintained.
    + Manufacturing records are accurately completed in real time to facilitate actions that allow the approval of documentation as required.
    + Processes and procedures, including on line/in-process quality checks are followed rigorously to deliver consistent quality products.
  • Carry out internal audits/inspections in accordance with agreed schedules and collaborate with team leaders to resolve any identified issues.

  • Monitor the sites strict microbiological requirements for finished product and plant hygiene.

  • Carry out the release of finished products in accordance with internal procedures.

  • Assist in investigations of key customer/consumer complaints to determine root cause and contribute to subsequent corrective actions.

  • Work collaboratively with all areas of the manufacturing process to proactively raise/resolve issues that arise.

  • Carry out additional duties as and when required that are relevant to the department and/or the site.

    Educated to degree standard or equivalent in Science discipline or work experience in a Quality team.

  • Demonstrable experience of carrying out microbiological and chemical testing.

  • Knowledge of a drinks manufacturing operation is ideal.

  • Excellent attention to detail.
