Quantity Surveyor (Building and Construction)

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support our business on a full time permanent basis. This role will be working across our MOD Housing contract as well as supporting on additional Projects within M&E. You will work from both the Faringdon (commercial and projects team) and Bulford (Housing) offices.,

• Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor with tenders


• Producing schedule of rates


• Retrieving prices from subcontractors


• Preparing void measures


• Final accounting projects


• Compiling applications for payments
  
  Good knowledge of the commercial environment


• Understanding of measured term contracts


• Confident using Microsoft packages


• Proficient communication and time management


Desirable

• Experience in tendering with public sector organisations and familiar with crown commercial service rules.


• Good knowledge of NHF schedule of rates
