Radiographer / Clinical Technologist, Band 5

Knowledge, skills and experience required Qualifications The post holder must be qualified to HNC level in a relevant science subject, or a qualified Radiographer. Specialist knowledge is acquired through short courses and updates. For Clinical Technologists, after a 3-year qualifying time and completion of a Portfolio, they should be eligible for inclusion on the Voluntary Register of Clinical Technologists. Technical/Incorporated Membership of the IPEM is desirable. Experience Time to obtain the aforementioned qualifications normally 3 years of training. Other Skills The post holder must have: Good team working skills. Ability to work on own initiative within competencies achieved. Good keyboard skills for the manipulation of images.
