Full Job Description

The post holder will be expected to provide a welcoming first impression for the Clinical Measurements Department where ECG's, echocardiograms, device checks and a variety of heart tests are performed.
The post holder will also have a number of admin duties to undertake such as dealing with phone calls from patients, preparation of lists and paperwork for the next day, dealing with patient outcomes on the system and working closely with the Cardiac Physiologists to ensure a smooth running of the patient flow in the department.

"We are looking to recruit an outstanding and highly committed full-time permanent Receptionist to join our Admin & Clerical team of staff - this will be for a Fixed Term Contract for a period of 12 months. The candidate will be based in the busy Clinical Measurements department at Newham General Hospital. This is a fast paced department requiring a proactive individual. The job will entail predominantly welcoming patients and their families face to face and speaking to patients on the telephone. Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills are essential. You will also need to be flexible, have an appreciation of the confidential nature of the work and be able to work well within a team."
Computer literacy is essential as you will be expected to input and extract information from various patient information systems, which include CRS and Radiology Information System and other computing systems
