Full Job Description

We are seeking a Receptionist / Customer service agent based primarily at the Imperial Hotel near Plymouth Hoe, with some shifts potentially being based at our other sites within the sea front area of the city

The ideal candidate will be responsible for welcoming our guests who are staying with us, undertaking check-ins for our properties, handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

The key responsibilities include :

- Inspecting our properties prior to check in to ensure they are guest ready

- Welcoming our guests when they arrive to check in and collect keys

- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person

- Ensuring all guest payaments are collected and recorded in our systems

- Provide information about our various properties

- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner

- Maintain customer records by updating our core IT systems

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely resolution of customer issues

Excellent administrative and organizational abilities

- Professional phone etiquette

- Welcoming, professional and friendly attitude for when greeting our guests face to face

- Clerical skills for office tasks

- Accurate data entry capabilities

- A full UK driving license is required as the role includes visiting our various properties across the seafront area of the city, using company vehicles which will be provided

We operate various shift patterns across the week, during the hours of 8 am to 8.30 pm including weekends, with the shift lengths and timings varying day on day .
