Full Job Description

A multifaceted role, our reservationist position gives you the opportunity to enhance your people, management and customer service skills. It's a think-on-your-feet, high-energy position, but we maintain a relaxed and supportive environment to help you keep a clear head and a bright outlook.

Balance is at the heart of everything we do - so this role comes with flex, too. Whether you choose to spend your week working with your team from our new offices at The Hangar - full of natural light, good food and proper coffee from our friends at Cubs - or you prefer to work from home, you can find a blend that works for you, with just one day a week minimum in the office.

We're all about building our teams to feel like part of our family, investing in you for the long term. With us you'll benefit from training and development opportunities to stoke your potential; as well as chances to build your understanding of our brand experiences with discounted stays across our UK hotels, from the Lake District fells to the west coast of Scotland to the North Cornish shoreline.

Our working hours are 08.45-17.15, with a rota from Monday to Sunday. We also offer our team guaranteed days off over the Christmas period, including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. This role is 32 hours per week over any 4 days out of 7.

Whether it's the people who bring our philosophy of active relaxation to life, the ocean, the mountains, the skies, the food and drink… our hotels bring more to life. You'll be a big part of the picture, helping meet our guests' high expectations and delivering a service that just keeps getting better.

Come to us with a commitment to your role and you'll discover a team with a shared outlook on life, where friendship, connection, flexibility, variety and challenge make every working day rewarding.

What you'll do:

  • Take responsibility for booking all elements of our guests' experience, by phone, email or live chat

  • Answer all enquiries in a timely, personable and professional way

  • Be confident in using your decision-making initiative

Are you a natural people person?

  • Do you relish variety and opportunity?

Do you want to be part of an exciting phase of growth, with flexibility to suit your lifestyle?

There's a buzz in the air at Watergate Bay Hotel and Another Place hotels collection. This year we're expanding our horizons with a new hotel and hospitality offerings opening across the UK. As a desk-based role, computer skills are vital, you'll need to quickly learn the ropes of our reservation software, and fluently navigate our online systems. People-focused with bags of energy and warmth, you'll introduce guests to our ever-evolving experiences - and we can guarantee that no two days will be the same.

You'll be the first port of call on the phone, email and live chat. Never scripted, you'll draw on your relaxed, personable and professional manner to help build our respected brands and shape the holidays of new and returning guests.
