Full Job Description

We have an exciting requirement for a proactive, innovative professional to manage our Reward and Recognition provision for all staff at Priors Court. This opportunity will allow you to take the lead on Pay and Benefits for our employees across all areas including our school, our residential homes and our facilities and services teams. You would be joining a small and experienced professional HR team who strive to maintain high standards at all times.

About Prior's Court

Prior's Court was set up by Founding Patron Dame Stephanie Shirley, whose vision of a centre of excellence for children with autism became reality with the opening of Prior's Court School in 1999. We have since grown to support around 90 young people with autism aged between 5-25 years with the opening of Prior's Court Young Adult Provision in 2011.

Since opening, our support team has grown from around 20 to 500 and we have built a reputation as a leading edge educational, vocational, and residential facility for young people with autism. We are situated on 50 acres of parkland with various facilities including accommodation for our young people, a school with a wide range of facilities and offices.

About the job

Some of the day-to-day responsibilities include

· Responsible for overseeing the duties of the payroll officer and verifying the monthly payroll activities prior to a final check by the Head of HR & Training and Finance Director.

· Support the Head of HR & Training, and the Finance Director in the annual salary review budget planning process, producing reports and analysis as required.

Managing the organisation's salary review process including data preparation, production, benchmarking, application, and reporting
· Responsible for the budget associated with Reward and Benefits, ensuring that the budget is set annually and monitored on a regular basis and that all costs attributed are kept within the budget

· Adapting and updating the HR system to capture the benefit and recognition data.

· To develop, review and maintain a reward package that meets the organisations requirements via the Flexible Benefits package (Your Benefits Your Way.)

· To manage both the broker and platform provider relationship

There will be a great opportunity for future personal development and growth including study support to gain your CIPP and CIPD or equivalent professional qualification. This position will require you to be on-site (Monday to Friday), with the option of 1 remote working day on completion of probation.

· Comprehensive "hands on" payroll experience alongside substantial experience with general benefits management
