Room leader level 5 apprenticeship

As a room leader at Bizzie Bees Nursery, you will play a vital role in leading a small team in early years and ensuring the smooth running of the room. This full-time position offers excellent opportunities for professional growth, including additional training and potential for promotion within our organisation.

Working week

Monday to Friday - all year round (52 weeks per year)

Daily hours to be confirmed, hours between 8am to 6pm

40 hours per week total,

• Safeguard the children in your care, prioritizing their safety, well-being, and emotional development at all times.


• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment for children, parents, and staff, adhering to nursery policies and procedures.


• Build positive and successful relationships with children, parents, and staff, fostering a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere.


• Lead the team within your assigned room, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to ensure best practices and high standards are consistently maintained.


• Support the management team by actively contributing to the smooth operation of the nursery.


• Stay up-to-date with current childcare regulations and best practices, implementing them effectively within the room.


• Attend and actively participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  
  Room Leader level 5, A minimum of Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent



• Two years of early years experience



• Good communication and teamwork



• Reliable, committed, and punctual



• Enthusiastic, and have a genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development


Education and qualifications

Early Years level 3 - Essential

Maths and English at GCSE level A-C 4-9 or functional skills equivalent
