Full Job Description

The Gorgeous Food Company is a speciality & fine food wholesale distributor, delivering speciality & fine food products to delicatessens, farm shops, butchers and independent food stores across the UK.

We are going through a period of significant growth and need to recruit an experienced (ideally) Sales/Business Development Executive.

This is an excellent opportunity, to join a dynamic company and great team, for someone who has experience in sales, is competitive and target driven with a bubbly personality, enthusiastic, reliable, high energy and customer focused and who can come and help grow the business.

Responsibilities as our Sales/Business Development Executive:

  • Generating new business focussing particularly on delicatessens, foodhalls, butchers, garden centres, health food shops, cafes, restaurants and hotels etc.

  • Contacting prospects provided by us & ability to generate own leads

  • In addition to new business acquisition, the Sales/Business Development Executive will be responsible for management and growth of existing accounts.

  • Focus on developing the business along with our management team

  • Although this is an office based position, the successful candidate may be required from time to time to attend client meetings and trade shows.

  • Achieving targets and KPIs

    Good Spoken English - essential

  • Ideally previous B2B sales experience ideally (but not essential) within the fine food or food service industry, however we will consider other telesales experience, sales executive experience or other sales experience (1 year minimum)

  • Experience in a target driven environment preferred, Business to Business Sales: 1 year (preferred)
