Full Job Description

We have a great opportunity for you to join our team and help develop retail sales. Reporting to the Fresh Food Sales Manager you
would be responsible for the development of fresh, chilled and frozen food sales within your allocated retail stores.
This is customer-facing position and involves building proactive relationships with independent retailers, store managers, and key
staff. The emphasis is on fostering collaboration, understanding retailer needs, and maximizing sales through effective
communication and promotion of the product range.

Here's What You Can Expect to be Doing.

  • Conduct regular range and commodity group reviews in-store, utilising local sales and category management information.


  • Monitor ongoing wholesale and retail category sales performance for each customer and use this information when planning

  • activity to drive sales growth

  • Maintain accurate records including weekly reports and performance trackers for each store.


  • Merchandise fixtures to support the introduction of new planograms or ranges


  • Drive like-for-like sales growth across Fresh and Frozen categories.


  • Maximize the distribution of new products, re-launches, and promotions.


  • Monitor competitor activity and market developments.


  • Roll out new Food to Go concepts.


  • Work with other members of the field sales division.

    This role is suited to someone who is energetic, enthusiastic and looking to make a difference. Experience and personal

  • drive is more important than formal qualifications but there are a few skills and attributes we are looking for:

  • Passionate about delivering first-class customer service and enthusiastic about retail.


  • Sales target-driven mindset.


  • A clear communicator who is confident in sharing ideas and can interact with retailers, store managers, and staff.


  • Hardworking with the ability work independently and as part of a team


  • Proficient in use of Microsoft applications including Excel.


  • Ability to analyse sales data and react to trends.


  • From time to time, with prior notification, the flexibility to be able to stay overnight to support specific events and

  • in-store projects.

  • Full driving license is essential (maximum of 6 current penalty points).
