Full Job Description

As an internal Sales Development Representative, you will be working alongside our Marketing team to help find, develop and nurture leads through to handover stage

Key Focus and core responsibilities:

  • Generate and Qualify Sales Leads:


  • Utilize various lead generation techniques to identify and qualify potential end users and distributors of safety footwear products.

    Conduct outbound calls to prospects, engaging in effective communication to assess their needs and establish interest in our offerings.

    Maintain accurate records of all lead interactions and follow-up activities using our CRM system.

  • Support Marketing Initiatives:


  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute product and industry campaigns through telesales channels.

    Communicate marketing messages effectively during customer interactions, driving awareness and interest in our products and services.

    Provide valuable feedback to the marketing team based on customer insights and market trends, contributing to the refinement of marketing strategies.

  • Sales and Marketing Alignment:


  • Act as a liaison between the sales and marketing teams, facilitating communication and cooperation in lead generation efforts.
  • Share insights and feedback from customer interactions with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation strategies and improve overall effectiveness.


  • Collaborate with sales representatives to ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads, maximizing conversion opportunities and revenue generation.

    Kicks in only after the first 25 meetings have been booked in a given month.

    You have booked a meeting with a prospect that doesn't currently specify or purchase safety footwear and has been unable to bring value to the business.

  • This may be reviewed in line with business goals.


  • Required Knowledge & Competencies:


  • Proven experience in telesales or a related field, preferably within the B2B sector.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers effectively over the phone.


  • Strong sales acumen, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.


  • Positive and tenacious.


  • Familiarity with CRM software and lead management systems. ( Hubspot )


  • Knowledge of safety footwear or related industries is a plus.


  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
