Full Job Description

Our Sales Support & Bid Management team is an integral part of our Sales organisation, which focuses on driving growth through business development and marketing activities. We actively support these activities by managing request for proposals, coordinating client engagements, and collaborating with other departments within our company.

But that's not all - we also support the retention of existing clients working with the Client Relationship team. Our team takes on various responsibilities to enhance the wider sales process, including coordinating and supporting the use of the sales management software, Hubspot, across the team, refining response practices for efficiency, managing the response database, building consultant relationships, supporting lead generation, and ensuring up-to-date data and collateral availability.

What will you do?

Your journey at SS&C will start on our work-based graduate training programme which will last 2 years, which has been tailored to your role to ensure you get the best start in your career with us. There will be a focus on learning along with on-the-job training and the opportunity to complete your IOC qualification too!

You will also have access to experienced mentors and career coaches, and we will help you enhance your soft skills and work efficiency through specialised training.

In your role there will be lots to do and learn! Your team will be very supportive, you'll have regular check ins, and you'll actively contribute to completing RFIs/RFPs and due diligence questionnaires, making impactful changes to our response database, and master a greater understanding for the sales cycle. There is a key focus on customer service in this role and you will always do your best for our internal and external customers. We are committed to your ongoing personal and professional career development and once you have completed your two-year programme you will progress into a specialist role using the expertise you have gained in your graduate role.
