Full Job Description

As part of the Instruction Capture Product Development team for Investment Middle Office Services (IMOS) you will be an integral part of driving design and delivery of key aspects of the industry leading middle office product. IMOS instruction capture is the front door to Middle Office Services and is responsible for capturing, validating and enriching client instructions across multiple asset classes and ensuring seamless downstream integration with internal and external service providers like Custody and Fund Accounting. Instruction capture not only facilitates client instructions, we are also responsible for capturing life cycle events from internal sources such as expert systems for derivatives, and publishing downstream for services like settlements. You will work with multiple stakeholders across product management, client service, operations, and technology to deliver key projects on the product road map. Gathering and drafting requirements to facilitate new business or functions and
maintaining existing processes and interfacing with clients.,

  • Provide regional SME coverage and write scope and detailed business requirements documents to drive project delivery Interfacing with client and internal stake holders.

  • Drive standardization in the buildout of the Investment Middle Office Services Instruction Capture flow while considering impact on broader Securities Services lines of business.

  • Identify opportunities for product improvement and differentiation, simplification and efficiency, present and drive process improvements.

  • Build strong partnerships and run project working group meetings with operations, technology, and other product areas to understand business flows and track project delivery.

  • Produce and present scorecards, to escalate challenges and brief stakeholders of the projects of major decisions and status updates.

  • Propose and deliver solutions as challenges in the project are raised; negotiate to prioritization across product roadmaps.

  • You will define and execute the roadmap and the priorities for your projects and be responsible for managing the detailed flows, communicating updates to stakeholders, and partnering with teams across the organization to drive the projects to completion.

  • In addition to interfacing with clients and product teams, this role offers an opportunity to further develop expertise across custody and trading products, asset manager and market processes. Given the pace of change, responsibilities of the role will include strategic thinking on FinTech, Big Data, etc. to provide a competitive product to the market.

    7+ years in working on projects, providing client focused solutions or enhancing existing products or processes.

  • Strong data analysis skills are required, with the ability to delve into data to learn trends in its behavior in order to drive how it can be used in the Instruction Capture space

  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and JIRA skills

  • Be able to move initiatives forward in a cross-functional and matrixed organizational model and guide product enhancements through required development, testing, and release management.

  • Strong program management skills with a working knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) in agile and waterfall methodologies.

  • Excellent communication capabilities, clearly and succinctly message with an understanding of appropriate level of detail for their stakeholders

  • Energetic self-starter with Strong collaboration skills, able to work with many different individuals and partner effectively with different groups.
