Security Guard

We are looking for a security guard to join our team to contribute towards the overall security of the Bowland view site,
controlling site access, directing visitors and deliveries to the correct locations.

Here's What You Can Expect to be Doing

• Maintaining the safety, security and operational standards of the external areas of our depot.


• Ensuring site security is maintained by controlling access to pass holders, deliveries and valid visitors.


• Monitoring CCTV, the intruder alarm, fire alarms and the building management system.


• Working alongside a team of security guards based over different areas of the site, ensuring accurate and up to date

communication of any issues.

• Reporting incidents in compliance with security procedures.


• Completing incident logs and reports accurately and thoroughly.


• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries.


• Greeting and directing all visitors to reception.


• Building and maintaining productive working relations with staff and visitors.
  
  Self-motivated, reliable and a good team player.


• Take responsibility for your own health and safety and that of your colleagues, visitors and employees who may be affected by

your activity.

• Consistently work in accordance with our Company policies and procedures.


• Be a smart and approachable with a good attention to detail.


• Have confident and clear communication skills, willing to challenge non-compliant behaviours.


• Have good computer literacy.


• Willing to work in an outside environment in all weathers.


• Flexible with working time with the ability to work overtime where required.
