Full Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Furniture Designer to join our team in Tisbury, Wiltshire., Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and objectives
- Lead and manage design projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Develop design concepts which are on brand and present them to clients for approval
- Onboard clients post sale
- Maintain excellent relations with clients and their teams throughout
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, engineers and contractors to ensure successful execution of design projects
- Undertake clear room surveys, ideally straight into CAD
- Conduct site visits alongside Guild Anderson's project management team to assess project feasibility and progress
- Oversee the selection of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and other design elements
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers

As a Senior Furniture Designer, you will be responsible for meeting prospective clients, understanding their lifestyle needs, establishing a brief for their kitchen or cabinetry, and preparing sketched plans and elevations to present back to them. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen design and interior architecture, coupled with a good understanding of joinery and the principles of cabinet making. Strong working knowledge of kitchen appliances is also important., Proficiency with both pencil and computer, including CAD
- Ability to create accurate and detailed drawings and specifications
- Good working knowledge of cabinetry construction and timber technology
- Excellent and proven kitchen design ability
- Excellent and proven space planning and interior architecture ability
- Excellent project management skills
- Organisation and the ability to track and monitor design changes
- Strong communication and presentation skills with plenty of client facing experience
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Empathy, and the ability to think through a client's eyes

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
