More detail about the role Our Senior Healthcare Support Workers (SHCSWs) form an essential and well-respected part of our healthcare teams across a number of dynamic settings; out in the community, in our acute hospitals or within our theatres teams to name just a few. You will be a valued member of the team through our comprehensive training and induction programme and our commitment to learning and development will satisfy even the most ambitious person. The team The Seamoor Unit is a busy combined chemotherapy and medical day treatment unit with outpatient and clinic facilities. Opening hours are 08:00 18:00. The outpatient clinics are consultant led by specialists in the field of both oncological and hematological cancers. This area consists of 7 consulting rooms and a quiet room for pre-treatment visits. The Fern Centre offers a variety of advice, treatments and support for our
patients, including Macmillan finance specialists, counselors, wig fitting, reflexology, Reiki and support groups. The outpatient treatment area is a nurse-led department consisting of an open plan treatment area containing 14 patient chairs. Alongside this there are 3 private side rooms which are used primarily for triage or procedures which require patient privacy. We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic, motivated and adaptable experienced nurse to join our friendly team.
