Full Job Description

This advanced fellowship in upper limb surgery will focus on elective and traumatic conditions of the shoulder and elbow. This is suitable for surgeons from the UK and elsewhere who are close to completion, or have completed their orthopaedic training and wish to pursue a career in shoulder and elbow surgery.

Dedicated time will be allocated to departmental research, including the current RCT investigating rehabilitation following shoulder surgery.

The post-holder should be able to demonstrate a subspecialty interest and experience in shoulder & elbow surgery. Applicants should have full GMC registration, completed the FRCS (Tr&Orth) or equivalent and ideally have CCT or CESR in trauma and orthopaedics.The post has an on-call commitment.
