Senior Production Operative

Responsible for developing and maintaining team performance and procedures to ensure the delivery of quality products to meet production targets and maintain cost efficiency and safe working conditions.,

• Process, seal, pack or despatch high quality meat products to the correct specification


• Utilise appropriate systems to ensure product tracking is carried out successfully


• Monitor other operators to ensure all processes are carried out correctly


• Coach or train Production Operatives to the required standard


• Support the department targets and KPIs


• Carry out all tasks on specific lines within the production side of the factory


• Ensure the highest level of health, hygiene and safety standards are followed


• Lead a line or area where required


• Cover a supervisor where needed


• Step up to a supervisor role when required


• Facilitate line or area servicing to ensure products are in the right area at the right time
