Base Location: Flexible, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key UK sites, which includes but is not limited to:- Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth, and Reading

Salary: £74,600 - £112,000 + car/car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: 2 Year Fixed Term Contract | Full Time | Flexible First options available

The Senior Delivery Programme Manager sits within our SSEN Distributions Technology Digital and Data team, supporting one of our key Transformation Programmes. This role will provide strategic digital leadership and vision to the delivery of the key Distribution Transformation Programme. This role is accountable and responsible for the digital workstreams and ensuring that the Distribution business meets its customers' and regulatory requirements. As well as this you will be responsible for the below:

- The role will be responsible for leading specific transformational programmes of activity, that are critical for us to meet our net zero ambition. The programmes will span across a number of products and value streams and will involve the leading and management of multiple solution development teams creating sustainable business solutions and the desired outcomes for Distribution.

- You will be responsible for using the best practice methodologies for their programme and ensuring effective control over costs and resourcing enabling the delivery of business outcomes to ensure their requirements are being met and that we provide high levels of customer satisfaction.

- Key to the role is to manage the operational aspects of the delivery teams involved, ensuring risk, legal, security and other compliance requirements are met. You will also be taking responsibility for the quality assurance, governance and overall integrity of the key Digital delivery for SSEN Distributions key Transformation programme.

- The Senior Programme Delivery Manager will be accountable for managing dependencies, realising the objectives, key results and other value targets defined as part of the Programme and must have the ability to be adaptable to meet changing business environments.

- Effective stakeholder management with regular interactions up to and including CxO level. They will hold strong relationships and collaborate closely with all relevant stakeholders and have experience partnering with third party vendors and delivery teams.

Extensive experience of delivering digital programmes in a large, complex and distributed organisation, preferably in a regulated environment. Ideally with scheduling and budgeting experience of £20m+.

- Extensive Project and Programme Management skills with a proven track record of multi-year and complex delivery programmes, preferably utilities environment experience.

- Extensive change/transformation experience with a proven track record in planning, executing, controlling and completing delivery phases and meeting Business value and outcomes.

- Ideally skilled in several project management / change management approaches in particular Agile, SAfe and waterfall (Prince2, APM, PMP) methodologies. You should also have effective stakeholder management with regular interactions up to and including CxO level.

- Appropriate solution delivery and business change methodologies and project delivery process and governance and accountability for long term decision making which will be required during all stages of the transformation programme. Particular emphasis needs to be given to promote focus on the priority scope, transparency through delivery and agile decision making.
