Full Job Description

We're seeking a Project Manager with experience working within Financial Services to join JP Morgan's banking network management team on a 6 months contract in Bournemouth.

The role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join the Network Management Program team which is accountable for the timely execution of projects. The projects could be driven from the lines of business themselves and relate to initiatives such as driving end-to-end efficiency, new product offerings and optimization or relate to a regulatory requirement which involves co-ordination across the Network.

This role will require end to end partnership and liaison with the various Network Management teams and key stakeholders, including Operations, Compliance, Risk and Legal across multiple lines of businesses.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for timely execution of programs within the Network Management function across both Securities and Cash

  • Ensuring that the complex regulatory and legal requirements impacting the network are embedded in all Programs

  • Accountable for embedding robust procedures and controls in all programs of work, ensuring that all operational model design is appropriate

  • Working closely with Network Managers to coordinate activities and ensure timely completion of tasks/deliverables

  • Partnering with Lines of Business, Controls, Compliance, Legal and Operational Risk teams to ensure a consistent approach is undertaken across the programs

  • Managing, reporting any key risks and challenges that impact programs of work and escalate to Global head of Program Management in a timely manner to allow prompt mitigation

  • Providing regular program management updates at team meetings and other governance/forum meetings

    Good knowledge of project and program management methodologies and techniques

  • Strong relationship management, influencing, and negotiation skills.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.

  • Ability to identify and negotiate innovative solutions to challenges and issues

  • Ability to organize, prioritise and manage multiple work streams

  • Attention to detail combined with an ability to absorb information and develop a strategic approach.

  • Expertise in Data analysis and modelling

  • An understanding of the impact of external factors, such as regulatory change on business strategies

  • Strong analytical skills, particularly with regards to assessing risk.

  • Strong team player, able to multi-task and work under pressure in a dynamic business environment.

  • Previous experience working with agent banks, carry brokers and FMIs preferred.

  • Previous knowledge of cash management and payment clearing preferred


  • Please note that this role will be working on a hybrid model of 3 days minimum office based and up to 2 days wfh. You'll require your own Laptop/PC when working from home., Project management: 5 years (required)

  • Financial services: 3 years (required)

    Pay: £450.00-£500.00 per day
