Apollo are undergoing an exciting period of change and we are now seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Operations Change team.

This role is ideal for those who want to own change end to end and the impact on our company, colleagues & customers, all while maintaining a keen eye on operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Your role extends to fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and learning internally with Apollo business teams and third parties.

Apollo has a focus on sustainability, customer engagement, and external partnerships, you will be instrumental in Apollo's growth and success in an ever-evolving business landscape.

What you'll do:

The role encompasses all aspects of change from building the ideas and pipeline, making the case for change, delivering, and embedding the change and of course making sure we realise the true benefits of the change from the smallest enhancement to large strategic changes.

From resource allocation to regulatory compliance, you will navigate a multifaceted role, addressing challenges with agility and ensuring change is effective and embedded to realise it's benefits across this growing company.

Project and change delivery:

  • Lead and own change in line with our internal customers and external partners.

  • Maintain comprehensive project and change plans including governance documentation.

  • Work closely with technology teams (including data) and security Teams in order to deliver change.

  • Engage with internal stakeholders to maintain, enhance and embed governance and a pace of change that benefits all stakeholders.

  • Acts as a first point of contact for given change initiatives - Programme, Project and small change.

  • Support the compliance of organizational resilience, regulatory and relevant policy requirements and support implementation activities.

  • Utilise, challenge and add to the Apollo change framework and standards.

  • Ensure Compliance with Operational Resilience, security & Cyber standards, GDPR and other standards and policies that Apollo must adhere to

  • Maintain project documents appropriately for internal and external audits.

  • Collaborates and coordinates with internal teams e.g. Risk Team, finance, underwriting.

  • Co-ordinates and ensures robust end to end change including requirements gathering and approach to testing and embedding of a change.

  • Contribute documentation, processes and evidence to support business continuity activities.

  • Maintains risk registers related to change.

  • Accountable for delivering and monitoring defined benefits with the business owner.

  • Utilise product and agile methodologies as required


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment and synergy across the organisation.

  • Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance product development processes and outcomes.


  • Risk Management:
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful, risk mitigated, change delivery.

  • Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements related to project delivery.

    We are looking for a hands-on project / programme professional with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects and change., Project management and change delivery experience is essential.

  • Experience and qualifications in project management and methodologies including but not limited to APM, Agile, PRINCE II, Waterfall

  • Technical awareness including Teams, Visio and Project Microsoft suite.

  • Accomplished leadership and stakeholder management skills, including C-Level.

  • Established project management, organising and planning skills to coordinate multiple sets of activities.

  • Ability to work on own initiative and be proactive.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Enthusiastic, dedicated, hardworking.
