An opportunity has become available in a government-approved, Microsoft Modern Workplace, IT managed service organisation that provides 24/7 365 IT support for public and private clouds with a focus on cost optimisation through the use of automation. We are looking for engineers to show our clients what responsive, reliable, and accountable IT support looks like in the world. Founded in 2019 this ambitious start-up offers its employees the ability to rapidly progress their career whilst supporting the business during significant growth phases., We are currently seeking an experienced Service Desk Manager with in-depth knowledge and proficiency in Azure, AWS, Networking, Microsoft Server, VMware, Palo Alto, Fortigate, and Azure DevOps. The successful candidate will primarily focus on technical consultancy, offering expert expertise to support the development and maintenance of our clients' IT infrastructure, along with some support responsibilities.,

  • Lead the team of Next2IT 3rd Line Engineers.

  • Implement business strategy as outlined by CEO.

  • Provide expert technical consultancy to our clients regarding their IT infrastructural needs and challenges.

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud environments, with a focus on Azure and AWS.

  • Develop and manage network solutions using Palo Alto and Fortigate technologies.

  • Utilise Azure DevOps for continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automation of infrastructure and workflows.

  • Provide third-line support to clients as required, ensuring issues are resolved effectively and promptly.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of technical tasks and projects.

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements and upgrades to clients.

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. (Preferable)

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within an IT Services and IT Consulting environment.

  • In-depth understanding and experience with Azure, AWS, Networking, Microsoft Server, VMware, Palo Alto, Fortigate, and Azure DevOps.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues.

  • Strong communication and client management skills.

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Must reside within a 25-mile radius of Stafford., GCSE or equivalent (preferred), Technical support: 2 years (preferred)

  • Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
