Full Job Description

As service Engineer, you will report to the technical manager regarding the inspection and maintenance of various items of testing equipment whilst also managing the workshop including controlling and organising of equipment that needs to be calibrated and /or inspecting. Your role will involve the following:

  • Managing our small workshop facility.

  • Managing and organising of equipment that requires dispatching out for inspection and / or calibration.

  • Servicing and repairing various items of testing equipment including our 24v electric / f4hydraulic power packs.

  • Fault finding and trouble shooting.

  • Occasional field repairs

    This is a full-time position working form our office and workshop sited to the east of Nottingham. We are looking for someone with experience in mechanical and electrical repairs but also a basic knowledge of hydraulic systems., Previous experience working as a Service Technician, Maintenance Technician, or Service Engineer


  • You will have good knowledge of electrical / mechanical / Hydraulic equipment.

  • A strong engineering background with an electrical or mechanical bias

  • Experience diagnosing and repairing faults in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment.

  • Enjoy working in a team or on your own in a busy environment.

  • Full UK driving licence.

    Non-Destructive Testing Services an RSK Group company are recruiting for a Service Engineer to join the team based in Nottingham, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position.


  • A leading foundation pile testing company requires a service Engineer to join the team in order to provide maintenance and repairs to electronic and hydraulic testing equipment and manage the day to day running of the workshop., RSK will not accept unsolicited CVs from agencies other than RSK PSL or Secondary agencies.
