As a Shop Assistant, you'll work alongside the Manager, handling various tasks including unpacking, pricing, sorting, and promoting donated goods. Your role involves providing excellent customer service and maximizing income from sales.

Working within a supportive team environment, you'll contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining appealing standards on the sales floor. You'll also supervise volunteers, provide support to fundraising teams, and ensure high standards of displays are maintained.

Responsibilities include implementing Gift Aid policies, managing financial administration during the Manager's absence, and adhering to security and health & safety guidelines.

Rated Outstanding by the CQC, Weldmar Hospicecare provides specialist care to adults in Dorset with a life limiting illness, and support to their loved ones. This care is given in the comfort of patients' own homes, in the community, and at our Inpatient Unit in Dorchester. All care is provided free of charge and mainly funded by the continued support of our local community, via fundraising initiatives and events, our retail chain, and gifts left in wills, enabling us to raise the £26,000 we need every day to keep our services going.
