Job Description Summary

We are recruiting for a Skilled Electronic Test Technician to specialize in the fault finding and electronic component debug of Printed Circuit Boards and Top-level units used on complex military applications.
You could be part of a growing team, working together to achieve customer deadlines and building a world that works.
Our products consist of multiple PCB's; you will be responsible for diagnosing the product to board level and using schematics to fault find to component level issues.
Diagnosis through investigation of top-level unit failures after or during ATP, ESS, and PAT testing.

Job Description

Role Summary:

Be able to understand unit failures and isolate faults to determine the root cause.

Working as part of a co-operative and communicative team to achieve daily and weekly commits to the business and the customer.

Support engineering reviews and validate trends to identify process/supplier issues to improve yield.

Ensuring traceability and compliance when working on products and problem solving both independently and as a team where required

Use of manual and automated test equipment of varying levels of complexity.

Essential Responsibilities:

Experience and/or relevant qualifications in diagnosing to component level on PCB's.

Ensure Health & Safety and Quality adherence.

Be able to apply yourself to daily manufacturing metrics.

Participate in lean activities and other initiatives.

Support operational delivery needs.

Work in teams and individually to achieve delivery targets.

Complete manufacturing paperwork and job cards

Qualifications/Requirements:

Raise all relevant paperwork to complete the task, ensuring traceability and compliance is maintained throughout the process.

Previous experience of fault diagnosis and testing of electronic components is preferrable.

The ability to utilise digital manuals, drawings, and other documentation to aid the repair of customer and GE owned assets.

Time served experience or similar level of knowledge demonstrated through formal qualifications.

Ability to follow detailed instructions and capability to learn complex electronic circuit diagrams.
