The role will be working 37.5 hours a week (5 days from any 7 including weekends/bank holidays) with days that are rotating that are dictated by the events calendar., We have a new content-focused opportunity to join our LiveScore Media Operations team. You will work to deliver an exciting football news focused content experience to LiveScore's millions of dedicated football fans, as part of the overall LiveScore Media strategy. As a Sports Media Service Executive - LiveScore Media, you will be part of a dedicated team reporting into the Sports Media Service Team Leader.

  • Deliver an engaging content experience for LiveScore users, focused on football news and highlights

  • Keep your finger on the pulse of football news in order to curate feeds of content and ensure most compelling news is surfaced in the right areas of the Product in a timely fashion

  • Work on market-leading push notification strategy to deliver news to football fans as soon as it happens

  • Prioritise popular teams and competitions for simple customer navigation and localise for key markets and languages

  • Manage the 'For You' experience on LiveScore app. Identify, manage and map new/existing content sources via third-party providers to successfully execute our content strategy

  • Daily administration of 'X/Twitter' event feeds, enhancing our internal backend mapping for automation, and delivering match highlights to users during live matches

  • Manage all back-office event data to ensure the data provided by 3^rd parties are displayed correctly and timely for all sports.

  • Monitor the quality of all key product features including Live Match Trackers, Statistics, Line-ups and Scoreboards to deliver the complete customer experience against our LiveScore vision.

  • 'Favourite' top tier events, monitoring all push notifications are correct and timely, comparing service with major competitors and ensuring LiveScore are best in class.

  • Monitor and test all customer Media to Betting convergence journeys, ensuring navigation to LSB or Virgin Bet is seamless.

  • Ongoing management of live streaming offering. Live quality monitoring for the service and escalating issues with 3rd party providers when incidents arise, finding solutions to minimise customer impact where possible.

  • Prioritisation of tasks by assessing potential customer impact and implementing workarounds to ensure impact is minimised and request long term solutions so that the issue does not arise again.

  • First line of reporting for issues with the Product, reporting to technical support teams, ensuring that any stakeholders are aware. Manage internal communication with the senior management team via dedicated communication channels.

  • Have the understanding and awareness to make critical operational decisions, in a fast paced, high pressure environment whenever required providing justifications on decisions made if needed.

  • Escalate and track all technical issues internally and with 3^rd party suppliers and actively chase until satisfactory outcomes are delivered.

  • Work closely with the Product team to prepare for new products and features being introduced. Involvement of QA testing throughout the Product/Development cycle.

  • Conducting competitor analysis, being informed of the latest trends and news in the Sports and Media marketplace. Bring new marketing and product ideas for the business to consider.

  • Support the wider Sportsbook Operations team with ad hoc Sportsbook tasks, as and when required.

    Experience in football media or content roles, such as editorial, social media or journalistic background

  • A football news enthusiast with good knowledge of sports

  • Always thinking like a user, from start to end of ideas. They are the cornerstone of every decision we make.
