The role will be working 37.5 hours a week (5 days from any 7 including weekends/bank holidays) with days that are rotating that are dictated by the events calendar., We have an exciting content-focused opportunity to join our LiveScore Media venture, moulding the news experience enjoyed by millions of football fans. As a Sport Media Service Team Leader, you will be part of a dedicated team based in our London office. Reporting into the Sports Media Service Manager, you will be responsible for the overall quality of our LiveScore Media product offering, ensuring that accurate and timely Sports content is presented and proactively delivered to our users in a consistent manner and in line with our overarching customer experience strategy.

  • Manage the presentation of sports content to our users to develop a news-led user experience for every fan. This will involve keeping your finger on the pulse of the football news cycle to identify news and major moments, and deliver these to LiveScore users

  • Deliver a market-leading push notification process focused on football news, including setting copy guidelines and training your team

  • Management of automated content workflows, including delivery of highlights to users

  • Create staffing rotas to deliver adequate cover for a 24/7 operation 365 day per year. Supervise the Sports Media Service team on allocated shifts and co-ordinate daily workflow

  • Ensure the presentation of all Sports Media content is consistent and aligns with brand and customer experience guidelines.

  • Build a strong working relationship with Product teams to contribute to new features and feed operational requirements into backlog to enhance the overall customer experience

  • Work closely with Insights team to optimise content experiences in data-led manner

  • Ensure daily tasks are delivered to a high standard and create detailed end of shift reports which are shared and reviewed with key stakeholders

  • Support our Product team to complete QA testing and reporting for app releases and any upcoming projects the team are working on

  • Conducting competitor analysis, being informed of the latest content trends. Bring new ideas for the business to consider

  • Assisting the Sports Media Service Manager, managing the training of all staff to be experts in their field and able to adapt to ongoing developments and improvements to systems and business processes

  • Conduct regular 1 to 1s with team to set stretching individual objectives and measure performance, following our internal PDR processes

  • Have the understanding and awareness to make critical operational decisions, in a fast paced, high pressure environment whenever required providing justifications on decisions made if needed.

  • Operational supervision for the management of data input across internal systems

  • Manage all escalated queries from the CS Team/3rd party providers in a timely and efficient manner, always looking to put the customer experience first. Identify patterns and trends and turn them into actionable tasks to continually drive improvements

  • Represent the Sports Media Service department in monthly service reviews to share team performance against core KPIs

    Proven Sports Media experience

  • Keen editorial eye and understanding of the football news cycle

  • Experience working with push notifications

  • High-quality copywriting skills

  • Understanding of football media landscape

  • Knowledge of sports

  • Football enthusiast.
