Full Job Description

The Stock Administrator supports the Operations Manager. Daily stock ordering, managing suppliers, raising purchase orders, chasing deliveries and maintaining stock levels.

Role Specific Responsibilities and Duties

Daily

  • Daily ordering (19 suppliers).

  • Managing order confirmations & amending delivery dates.

  • Sending priority lists to suppliers every week.

  • Daily fabric cutting List.

  • Daily stock control.

  • Arranging 3rd party sub contracting.

  • Liaising with internal and external suppliers.

  • Learning the Customer Order Input process, so can be utilised as and when required.

  • Checking daily input report and notifying relevant departments of lead times.

  • Chasing suppliers daily on delivery dates, managing delays, souring different suppliers, and notifying relevant departments of delays.

  • Tendering suppliers for large orders.

  • Assisting with stock takes.

  • Running reports for the business as and when required.


  • General Requirements

    · To communicate effectively with all departments.

    · Attending meetings as and when required.

    · Answer role specific emails & telephone.

    · Answer the general office phone.

    · Provide data to the business as an when required.

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred), Stock management: 3 years (required)
