The team works closely and collaboratively with the Stroke leads and teams in the Emergency Department, the Nursing, Therapy and Medical teams within the Stroke service to develop pathways of care in North Devon and to ensure high quality interventions and care which meet the demands of the new national guidelines and SSNAP. Innovation is central to the Stroke Team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, demonstrated by the implementation of several new initiatives and the development of non-traditional roles in recent years including in ACP in Stroke Services and an AHP consultant within the Neuro rehab Service.
