Full Job Description

Our lively Children's Centre is looking for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact for families.

You will keep the family hub running smoothly by:

  • covering reception duties

  • completing administrative tasks

  • providing a warm welcome and helpful information to parents, children, and our partners, guiding them to services that foster healthy development.


  • As part of our collaborative team, your goal will be supporting the needs of children from pregnancy to 5 years old, along with their families. You'll help us deliver our Healthy Child programme through the Children's Centre Statutory Framework, which makes a real difference in little ones' physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth during these vital early years.

    a level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics or equivalent experience or evidence of skills

  • good levels of communication skills (written and verbal)

  • the ability to provide advice and information with clarity and impartiality to meet the needs of the recipient.

    £23,114 per annum pro rata

  • 22.5 hours per week

  • Fixed Term or Secondment up to 12 months
