Support Worker / Enabler

Thornery Care provides support for people with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health Difficulties.

We are flexible in our approach in order that we can be truly person - centered, ensuring that meeting the needs of our service users is always our priority.

We are looking for support workers who are motivated, enthusiastic and reliable.

You will be supporting people to live fulfilled and independent lives and to be part of their local community. This may mean helping them with their shopping, leisure activities, domestic tasks and all other aspects of daily living.

This can be a hugely rewarding job and also has the advantage of having many different shift patterns available including short shifts, long shifts, days, nights weekdays, weekends and also school hours

Experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided including RQF's (previously known as NVQ's)

We are currently looking for the following Hours, this can be multiply staff for different hours. Due to expansion we have a new supported living house. The house is in a near by village to Barnstaple which is on a bus route but not sure how frequent they are so a driver would be preferable.

Also looking for bank staff to cover holidays and sickness.
