Supported Living Support Worker

Are you looking for a Support Worker role which does not involve driving between clients' homes?

Liberty Care is a Supported Living Company with 15 properties across Caerphilly & Torfean Borough and Newport area and you will be allocated to work within one of these locations.

As a Support Worker you will be supporting the Service Users living within the property, to live as independently as possible

Your duties and responsibilities include

• Working as part of a Service Team to support the residents of the service


• Following the Service Users Daily Care Plan


• Providing or supporting with Personal Care


• Administering Medication


• Promoting and supporting Service Users to make independent decisions


• Supporting with daily and weekly tasks, such as shopping and cleaning


• Maintaining and updating service users notes and care plans, What driving License do you currently hold? (Due to driving Liberty Care vehicles and Service Users mobility vehicles, we are NOT able to accept Provisional or International Licence


• Can you commit to working a minimum of 36 hours per week, all year round, without restrictions on days or hours (This is due to ensuring the needs of the service users are met)


Licence/Certification:

• Full UK Driving Licence (UK Theory & Practical tests) (required)
  
  We are looking for individuals with either Support Worker experience or experience of caring for a family member with additional support needs.
