To support Magna's continuous improvement, we are excited to announce excellent opportunities for both an Asset Surveyor and a Land and Property Surveyor within Magna Housing's Asset Investment department. We are seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our team.

What you take care of:

You'll be an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating closely with our wider colleagues to achieve best practices. Your duties will involve analysing property data to assist in the development of future works programs, conducting stock condition surveys, inspecting properties, and creating detailed specifications for works. You'll manage these projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet the highest standards and achieve optimal levels of customer satisfaction.,

  • To support and oversee asset investment programmes of works.

  • To undertake surveys on our assets, that enable us to create great homes and future programmes.

  • To support and oversee projects and contracts, ensuring we meet and always adhere to our high standards of customer satisfaction, quality of work, and budget forecasts.

  • You will diagnose building defects, produce specifications, document these works to ensure we meet all compliance requirements to a successful completion.

  • (For the Land & Property role) you will support and produce feasibility studies and option appraisals on schemes.

    Hold a HND or equivalent in a construction related discipline, with a mathematical mindset with excellent communication, numeracy, and interpersonal skills.

  • Be organised, logical and capable of concise and accurate work, together with a proficient level of IT comprehension.

  • Have excellent knowledge of Building Regulations and experience of construction from inception to completion.

  • Be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and with a focus on high quality and customer satisfaction.
