Full Job Description

  • We're looking for a Talent and Development professional to join our team. You'll have spent at least one year working in the profession within a People Team and be ready to bring your expertise to IAG Loyalty.

  • You'll spike in learning and development, and be honing your skills in designing and delivering powerful learning experiences that land with impact and make a difference (to the colleague, to the team, to the business)

  • You'll love being up on your feet delivering learning, you know how to engage with a group of learners and are a natural when it comes to facilitation.

  • You'll be a bit of a pro when it comes to new joiner experience. You know that when we bring brilliant talent in, how we pre-board and induct them is the difference between them thriving and performing quickly or finding those early days a challenge.

  • You'll spot opportunities to package up an experience, and you'll take accountability for making sure that all the right people are equipped with the information they need to play their part as we welcome new starters to our club.

  • You'll get stuck in with every part of our learning offer, sharing feedback and ideas, making creative suggestions and doing your bit when it comes to the design and delivery of what we do.

  • And you enjoy building digital content- you might not be a total pro on all the learning tech just yet but you're up for learning. If you've used any authoring tools or have digital learning experience it's a big plus.

  • We're adopting agile ways of working across the business, so ideally, we're looking for someone who knows their retros from their reviews and takes a customer-centric approach to designing and iterating the work they do.

  • You'll also support us with all development & talent optimisation activities, including internal marketing, enrolments, invitations and feedback and you'll enjoy bringing a bit of creative spark to this work.

  • You'll take the lead on our day-to-day admin, whether that be managing new supplier set-ups, raising POs or managing our calendar of learning activity.

  • You will be responsible for managing mandatory training requirements for IAGL colleagues, ensuring everyone completes the required learning for their roles at the relevant times to keep IAGL compliant.

You must have worked as part of an L&D team for at least a year and bring experience and passion for design and delivery of learning and development

  • You enjoy organisation and have a keen eye for detail

  • You love being up on your feet delivering content- you'll bring confidence and passion to your work, no matter what the audience

  • A self-starter with the ability to work equally well on your own initiative and within a team

  • Have a passion for learning and a desire to develop and deliver world class content and experiences

  • You must have a natural approach to building relationships and influencing stakeholders and can develop effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels

  • Have a proven hands-on attitude, be flexible and adaptable.

  • Have intellectual curiosity, bringing valuable insight into the team / business

  • We're focused on agility in the People team - you'll bring expertise (or the hunger to learn), curiosity and a growth mindset

We're loyalty pioneers, creating the world's most rewarding experiences.

  • Since the launch of Avios in 2011, we have evolved from a leader in travel rewards to a leader in loyalty.

We design customer loyalty programmes, build loyalty management tools, provide loyalty tech solutions and produce invaluable data and customer insights to maximise and leverage the ever-increasing potential of loyalty.

We've created millions of memories for members around the world, harnessing their loyalty and love for travel with hotel and flight rewards and unforgettable experiences.

Today, IAG Loyalty is continuing that growth on a global stage:
  • 3000 Avios are collected every second (more than 100 billion annually) by

  • 40 million members across 200 countries globally from

  • 125+ partnerships with the biggest names in travel, retail, hospitality, finance and more.

  • You can find more information on Avios, IAGL and our values on our Youtube channel - https://www.youtube.com/@iagloyalty7558 and at https://www.iagloyalty.com/

These are exciting times for the global loyalty sector. We've come so far, but there is much more we want to do. We're a place of high performance with heart, where you can expect a culture of collaboration and experimentation in a transparent and continuous feedback environment. Our teams are full of highly aligned, outcome-focused people. You get big remits here with a chance to make a big impact.

Our People Team purpose is to help create a workplace environment where our colleagues can grow, thrive and be their true authentic self, so they can do their best work for our customers. Sounds simple but those in the know understand this involves a clear people plan with many elements working in harmony together. We're going to:
  • Evolve our culture making IAG Loyalty an even more fulfilling and brilliant place to work where everyone belongs

  • Bring the very best talent into our club and create the environment and opportunity for all to thrive and to put in place a colleague experience which focuses on the outcome and the impact, not the process and the task, This role will be based at IAGL's London office in Victoria and occasional travel to Warrington, and we have a blended approach to working at IAGL. Our Blend is our interpretation of hybrid working, where our colleagues are empowered to choose the location for them to produce their best work. Based on your to-do list, colleagues either choose the office or home working that day.

  • Inclusion and diversity are integral to the success of IAG Loyalty. We continuously encourage an organisational culture where colleagues with varying perspectives, life experiences and backgrounds can work together to achieve their and the organisation's potential. We also welcome discussions about flexible working.
