  • The learner will be studying the Accounts or Finance Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship standard qualification, additionally study for the AAT.

  • Day release to West Suffolk College.

  • Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held.

    Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Logical, Number skills, GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade 5-9) Essential

  • AS Level or equivalent Maths and/or Economics (Grade C or abo) Desired

We are based in Bury St Edmunds and our office is on Moreton Hall. We are looking for an apprentice accountant and tax adviser, to be part of our small team, full training will be given., They are a tax and accountancy practice that gives forward looking proactive advice to our clients. They use technology to help their clients and to work efficiently. They are based in Bury St Edmunds and our office is on Moreton Hall. They look after approx 250 businesses and their owners. Their clients are typically small owner managed businesses that need help with tax and accountancy. They have a lot of start up businesses and as they have grown theirselves from a start up they understand the pressures that business owners have.

    You could reduce your training time, or finish your apprenticeship faster, if you have relevant prior learning or experience. This could be relevant:
