Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Tax Manager with a strong background in accounting and tax compliance, as well as experience working in a PRACTICE setting. This position will be responsible for managing all aspects of our company's tax compliance and reporting, as well as providing strategic tax planning advice.,

  • Work in the Advisory Team.

  • Interact with and manage clients. Client facing role immediately - meeting with companies over $200 million in revenue, providing and learning tax advice.

  • Preparing complex tax returns for FTSE 100 companies in industries such as Technology, Finance, Real Estate

  • Oversee all aspects of the company's tax compliance and reporting, including preparing and filing tax returns, managing tax audits, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

  • Provide strategic tax planning advice to management to minimize tax liabilities and optimize tax efficiency.

  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for tax savings.

  • Develop and implement tax strategies to support the company's business goals and objectives.

  • Manage relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and tax authorities to ensure timely and accurate reporting and compliance.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as finance and legal teams, to provide tax advice and support on business transactions and initiatives.

  • Assist with tax-related projects and initiatives, such as mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and transfer pricing.

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience

  • ACCA, ACA, ATT, CTA qualification is preferred, or qualified by experience

  • 3 years+ of experience in accounting and taxation, preferably in UK Public Practice

  • Right to FULLY work in the UK and DOES NOT require sponsorship

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify tax planning opportunities and risks.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Proven leadership abilities, with experience in supervising and mentoring staff.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office suite.
