Teacher of Mathematics (Numeracy TLR 2A)

The mathematics department is committed to obtaining outstanding results and positive career outcomes for students. As part of our journey, we are now looking to appoint an inspirational teacher of Mathematics; with the opportunity to continue the work that we have started in leading numeracy across the school. This is negotiable depending on the specific skillset of the candidate appointed. It is desirable for the successful applicant to have experience of teaching A level mathematics.

The Maths team itself consists of eight motivated members of staff, who have a real sense of teamwork. The atmosphere is supportive and they help each other improve. They collaborate well to produce high quality overviews of learning.

Archway school is seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher of Mathematics, for the right candidate there is also the opportunity of leading numeracy across the curriculum. The successful candidate will work alongside the experienced Head of Department and team.

The inspectors recognised the significant progress that had been made in a number of areas since the previous inspection in 2018.
