Full Job Description

  • Plan and manage the delivery of high-quality support for our residents.

  • Work with the home manager and deputy to lead a team of seniors and support workers.

  • undertake staff supervisions.

  • Administration of medication.

  • Liaising with external medical professionals and resident's families.

  • Ensuring support is delivered to the highest standards

  • Ensuring care plans, risk assessments and paperwork are completed and up to date.

    Experienced working within mental health, learning disabilities and challenging behaviours.

  • Experience of supervision of staff and able to demonstrate strong leadership skills.

  • Experience of running shifts and leading a team.

  • Experience in administering medication.

  • Holder of an NVQ3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), or hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care and willing to undertake a Level 3 Diploma.

    Salary: £13.37 per hour

We are particularly looking for individuals who have experience of working with people with Challenging Behaviour.

    Our service The Meadows is set in Instow, nr Bideford. The Meadows is a vibrant and diverse residential service accommodating 14 adults. The Meadows will give you the opportunity to work in partnership with management, staff, and health care professionals to provide a high level of support to the people we care for. We strive to deliver outcome focused, person cantered support to a standard which enable people to thrive and regain control of their life.

    You will need experience of working within a mental health/ challenging behaviour social care service. You will have the right values and passion to apply for this dynamic role. In return, The Meadows can offer full training, 28 days paid holiday (including Bank Holidays) , working on a fixed rota system of one weekend in three.
