Full Job Description
- To provide care in accordance with current best practices according to policies and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations under the direction of the manager.
- To supervise the care delivery within the service.
- To maintain skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain practices as up to date., To ensure service users are at the heart of care and delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing.
- To ensure that all staff contribute to the efficient running of El Marsh Supported Living and supervise staff.
- To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of the individuals they support.
- Travel round our services to do spot checks, daily checks e.t.c.
- Update service users care plan
- Schedule monthly rota for staff members
- Supervision for Support worker and senior support workers
- Support HR disciplinary investigations
- Carry out Return to work and monitoring of absence
- Report writing and auditing of care plan
- Medication checks, ordering, counting and return of medication e.t.c.
- Organise activities for service users
- Ensure service user health and wellbeing is adhered to according to their care plan.
- Promote independent of service user
- Good English- Written and Verbal
- RQF Diploma Level 3
- Supervisory and Management Qualification
- Care sector: (12months preferred), providing care: 2 years (preferred)
