Full Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Team Organiser to join VolkerRail Major Projects Business working in London on the Southern Integrated Delivery Project., Key duties will include:

  • Support for the Business Partner Lead (Track), this includes but is not limited to:

  • Manage diaries for and on behalf of the Management Team ensuring relevant meetings are scheduled accordingly and in advance.

  • Coordinate management team movements, collate and file Management Team Timesheets.

  • Make arrangements in respect of Management Team accommodation and travel where appropriate.

  • Process annual leave requests and authorise for the Management teams.

  • Preparing and amending documents, including reports, letters, minutes, agenda, summarising discussions and transmittal notes.

  • Manage the collation and filing of travel invoices, expense items, and follow up any discrepancies with invoices.

  • Co-ordinate all team meetings.

  • Manage, collate, input and produce a monthly report of all key safety performance indicators.

    You will be self-motivated with a pro-active approach and have experience of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines. Problem solving, communication and good interpersonal skills are a key requirement for this role. The candidate will also ideally have the following experience/skill set:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is a requirement.

  • Proficient in MS office applications (Microsoft Word, TEAMS, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

  • Confident to embrace diverse digital systems for communication and data management.

  • A minimum of 3 GCSE's grade A-C including English and Maths.

  • Flexible/proactive - can do attitude who shows initiative to support others.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • The ability to manage work to meet varying deadlines.
