Technical Install Engineer - Audio, Visual & Lighting

We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining audio-visual systems to meet the needs of our customers. The installation side of the business has been built up over the last few years to match the hire side, and now requires a dedicated engineer to assist and then eventually take over becoming Install Manager.,

• Design and install audio-visual systems for all types of venues (bars, gyms, schools, etc)


• Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of audio-visual equipment


• Collaborate with clients to understand their audio-visual requirements and provide technical support


• Stay updated on the latest audio-visual technologies and trends to recommend system improvements


• Provide out-of-hours support to Service Contract Customers
  
  Proven experience working with audio-visual systems in a professional setting


• Proficiency in installing audio mixers, amplifiers, microphones, projectors, and other AV equipment


• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members


• Knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP) such as Soundweb, Yamaha MTX


Nice-to-have Skills:

• Certification in Audio Visual Technologies or DSP's


• Experience with video conferencing systems such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams


• Experience in Microsoft Office
