Full Job Description

We are offering circa 50K for an experienced Technical & Quality Manager ideally from a pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, nutricosmetics or Cosmeceuticals background. We welcome candidates from varied backgrounds please apply if you feel you meet the requirements.

Situated in the village of Ingleton in North Yorkshire this position is based on site Monday to Thursday 08.30 - 17.00 & 08.30 - 15.45 Friday.

Duties will include

  • Manage enquiries from new and existing customers and facilitate development of the formulation and method of manufacture of new products.

  • Review and approve raw materials for product manufacture, including Health & Safety considerations.

  • Manage technical documentation and technical information saved in the company computer system for raw materials and finished products.

  • Manage external audits and inspections and any associated actions.

  • Manage, investigate and resolve non-conformances and customer complaints including appropriate documentation and discussions with customers.

  • Manage product and facility testing requirements e.g. analysis of finished goods, hygiene swabbing.

  • Manage the site food safety management/HACCP system

    Comfortable with varied workload & changing priorities

  • You need to be a self starter and able to manage and priorities your work load

  • Good attention to detail and confidant in reading technical documents and taking a lead on what's required on behalf of the business.

  • Confidant on subject matter and can hold colleagues and customers hands through the product development process

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experience of working in a regulated environment

  • IT literate and able to use the days current technology

  • Experience using ERP packages

  • A good understanding of QMS principles ideally ISO 9001 & 22000

  • Good project management skills & experience

    Lonsdale Health Products has over 40 years experience as a contract manufacturer and white label producer, manufacturing & packing vitamins & supplements in tablet, powder & capsule form.
