Telesale / Field Sales Representative

ShoeString is a small family run business manufacturing and distributing shoe care, laces and insoles to a multitude of retailers including independents and high street chains.

We are seeking someone with a bubbly personality who is great on the phone and face to face. This hybrid role required a combination of telesales experience and the ability to thrive in face to face interactions with clients.

As a member of our telesales/field sales team you will be given a database of existing customers to look after and nurture on a 4-6 week rotation or as required ensuring they continue to order from us whilst introducing them to new products too. There will be a handful of warm calls to do each day in an attempt to gain some new business on our books but don't worry there will be plenty of training given. If you are a good listen and can gain a rapport with people then that's half the battle.

Alongside this there we will require you to visit customers 1 day a week by planning the visits to make best use of your time.

This role is Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm with 1 of those days being planned field visits.

As part of your role you will be

· Answering incoming calls and actioning accordingly

· Checking and replying to customer emails as required

· Telesales of existing area on a 4-6 week rotation or to meet the needs of the customer

· Conduct outbound calls to potential retailers and following up on leads.

· 1 day a week visiting customers

· Exceed sales targets and KPI's by the company

· Establishing sound knowledge and keeping up to date with ShoeStrings products and services

· 2-3 days a year we exhibit at UK exhibitions and your attendance will be required. It's a great way to meet your customers.

· Good people skills

· Knowledge of using computers including ACT crm and Sage line 50 would be an advantage however training will be provided

· Previous sales experience including field visits

· Previous shoecare or footwear knowledge would be advantageous.

· Full driving licence
