Full Job Description

  • Responsible for daily accounting and data entry such as processing the daily bookkeeping (e.g bank postings, raising invoices, organising payment runs, staff expenses).

  • Prepare and review the month end reporting and present to the MD, CFO & CEO

  • Be responsible for maintaining and implementing internal controls to adhere to Airbus and UK financial requirements

  • Prepare, review and monitor the budget and communicate the actuals vs budget to management

  • Responsible for credit management and monitoring timely payment from suppliers

  • Prepare the quarterly VAT return and liaise with the current accounting firm to ensure compliance with UK rules and regulations

  • Prepare and supply information to the tax team on annual basis to ensure Corporation Tax compliance

  • Regularly liaise with stakeholders including the accounting firm to ensure UK compliance

    An opportunity to join a growing business in the UK manufacturing sector. For this role, you will be expected to carry out daily accounting tasks/bookkeeping, prepare the monthly management reporting and have Involvement in annual forecasting. You will have good communication skills and will be able to confidently liaise with the support functions, management and other key stakeholders., Part qualified to finalist ACA/ACCA or equivalent accounting qualifications

  • Experience with using SAGE accounting software will be a plus

  • 3+ years of experience in finance/industry

  • Strong background in reporting and controlling

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.
