Full Job Description

We are using CCH Tagetik as the financial consolidation platform for the group. Having gone live with the platform in 2022, this role is to fully "own" our development, maintenance, training and support for the global finance team. You will work closely with the finance stakeholders across the group, and manage the relationship with the external managed services team that provide additional development and technical support.

South Pole is also in the process of implementing and enhancing other financial platforms, and developing our data landscape. This role will support elements of these implementations, as well as being one of the key finance stakeholders working with the internal Data Analytics team who are striving towards automated self-serve reporting.

Main tasks & responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of a global EPM platform - assisting in requirements gathering and process design, ensuring the use of accounting best practices


  • Assist in management of implementation with both internal stakeholders and external implementation partners


  • Design and deliver global training across the South Pole finance teams


  • Collate and analyse additional requirements of the platform, designing the most efficient solution to match these needs


  • Own future continued development of platform, on-boarding of new finance teams and issue resolution/support


  • Work closely with Data Analytics team to support data migration/analytics from CCH Tagetik and other financial platforms, Should any of our employees need to take time off the Iceberg as a result of a new addition to their household, we are happy to be able to offer competitive Paid Parental leave to support them during this time.

    Essential -
  • Strong Administrative/Support experience and understanding of CCH Tagetik (not solely end-user experience)


  • Solid understanding of accounting principles (IFRS and various Local GAAP) and how these need to be applied within a global financial consolidation platform


  • Ability to manage consultants to deliver the best solution possible


  • A self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work autonomously


  • Ability to engage and communicate with finance teams across our global group


  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment where many processes and procedures need to be implemented


  • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, prioritising tasks and managing expectations


  • Desirable -
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) or equivalent


  • Experience using various consolidation platforms


  • Previous development and roll-out of training programmes


  • Experience championing a financial system/platform
